Will it damage my walls? I can't lose my deposit.
On smooth, clean, painted walls — which is the only surface this product is designed for — the K40 PRO removes cleanly using a hairdryer. Apply heat to the edge for 20–30 seconds, then peel slowly. The wall comes away undamaged. We include the removal guide in every order. If you're unsure, always test a small area in a less visible corner first. Not suitable for textured, rough, tiled, or damp walls — those are return trigger situations.
Will it bubble? I've seen other versions look terrible after a week.
What you saw was probably a flat PVC foil print — where every tiny air pocket shows immediately. The K40 PRO uses a textured surface (orange-peel or cube pattern) that tolerates minor air pockets during application. We don't claim perfectly flat every time — but the texture does the work that a flat foil print can't. Apply from the centre outward using your palm. The application guide walks you through it. And if the result isn't what you expected, the 30-day guarantee is the answer.
How much does one roll actually cover? Will it do my whole kitchen?
One roll covers approximately 1.2m² — which is the stove backsplash zone (the wall area directly behind your hob). If you want to cover a full kitchen run — typically all four walls at counter height — you need the 3-roll kit, which covers ~3.6m². We're specific about coverage because coverage confusion is the top reason for returns. One roll does not cover a full kitchen. The 3-roll kit does.
What walls does it work on? My flat has that textured wallpaper.
Smooth, clean, painted walls only. This is the most important thing to check before ordering. Textured wallpaper, rough-plastered surfaces, tiles, damp walls, and surfaces with existing damage are not suitable — and applying to these surfaces is the most common reason for unsuccessful results and return requests. If your wall behind the hob has any texture at all — run your hand flat across it. If it catches, this product is not right for that surface. If it's smooth to the touch, you're good.
